Paintless
Dent Repair
PDR is the fastest, cleanest way to remove dents without touching your factory finish. No filler, no sanding, no paint — just your original panel, restored.
How PDR Works
Paintless dent repair uses specialized metal rods and picks to access the back side of a dent, then carefully massage the metal outward from the inside — restoring its original shape without any paint disturbance.
It's the same technique used by dealerships, insurance preferred shops, and high-end body specialists. At Alamo, we apply it to hail damage, parking dents, shopping cart dings, door dents, and minor creases.
PDR only works when the paint is still intact. If your dent has cracked or chipped paint, we'll transition to traditional panel repair and refinishing with our Sikkens lifetime warranty.
Hail Damage
The #1 PDR application. Multiple dings, all panels, handled efficiently — and we process the insurance claim.
Parking Lot Dents
Door dings, shopping cart impacts, minor door edge dents. If the paint's intact, PDR removes them cleanly.
Minor Creases
Shallow, linear dents from contact with guardrails, poles, or other vehicles — assessed case by case.
The Advantages
Faster
1–3 days vs. 5–10 for traditional repair. You're back on the road sooner.
Factory Finish
Your original OEM paint is never touched. No color match risk, no peeling later.
Lower Cost
No paint, no materials, less labor. PDR typically costs less than traditional repair.
Resale Value
Unrepainted panels show as original paint on CARFAX. Buyers pay more for paint-intact vehicles.
When PDR Isn't the Right Call
We'll always tell you straight. PDR isn't suitable for every dent — and we won't push it when it isn't.
In those cases, we move to traditional repair and refinishing with our Sikkens lifetime warranty. Either way, you get the right fix — not just the easiest one to sell.
